Meet Ms. Loren
As a speech-language pathologist, my passion is helping children of all ages overcome communication challenges and achieve their fullest potential. I have developed expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication disorders.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Worcester State University, followed by a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. I am licensed by the South Carolina Board of Speech-Language Pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Throughout my career, I have worked in the public school system and private practice. My areas of specialization include language delays and disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and articulation and phonological disorders.
In addition to clinical work, I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field.
I am passionate about working collaboratively with individuals and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.

Improving an individual's social communication skills, such as understanding social cues, interpreting nonverbal language, and using appropriate verbal and nonverbal responses,

Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
Use of a diverse. set of tools, strategies, and techniques that assist individuals with communication impairments in expressing themselves, including devices like speech-generating devices, ASL, and gestures
Expressive Language
Interventions and techniques aimed at improving an individual's ability to effectively express themselves through spoken or written communication.
Stuttering
Helping individuals who stutter to improve their speech fluency and overall communication skills.
Receptive Language
Interventions and techniques aimed at improving an individual's ability to understand and comprehend language.
